"Pappa, I just read this somewhere, 'Fragrance stays in the hand that gives the rose', but I couldn't quite understand. Can you tell me about it pappa?"

"Oh, that's a lovely statement kutty. When your chithappa was a child, he loved his football, the entire colony would play with it. But he wouldn't give it to anyone if he wasn't playing. People would call him every weekend to play, but sometimes he might have to go out, so those days they would play something else.
After a few months, his friend got a new football, and then he realised that the only reason they would call me was because he had the ball.

But suppose he had given the ball generously, the rapport developed would have made his friends come and call him to play, even after his friend got a new ball. So if you have to interpret the football as a rose: If you had given the rose sometime, then whenever you want get its fragrance, even if you don't have a rose with you, someone wouldn't hesitate to give one to you. Hence the frangrance of the rose would stay in your hand."

I just wish I had daughters such as yours... The interactions with kids is simple yet profound...
Unfortunately I interact with people who have already been pollute by the society, its norms and rituals....
